The
church is located on one of the mount’s slopes and
it offers a particular landscape due to its caves. The
first grotto has its entrance through a medieval porch
which leads into the hypogeous church with two altars
and frescos that belong to the V – VI aC. There
are also columns and structures that are intended to collect
water from the slopes but they have not been fully studied
yet.
The second grotto has structures and
walls which witnessed former dwellers. The complete landscape
is considered to be of great interest for speleologists.
